Your story is super relatable. I wrote and complained about exactly these subjects multiple times, but not everyone always seems to agree.

Following the regular guidelines preached around on this website can make you feel so squeezed and almost oppressed, dare I say. As if, if you don't follow them, you're condemned to fail. And like you say, it's always the same generic advice, that's usually not worth sticking around to read.

At least you've found an outlet for your creative aspirations, and I'm sure that in time it will find the right people, and earn more than just a few cents. We all start there.
