Well essentially one commonly given advice on Medium is writing daily. Which I'm saying doesn't work because then your older articles don't have any value anymore as they only ever existed and had use to contribute to the grind.

There is no trend. Barack Obama doesn't publish daily but still generates a ton of traction and attention because he is a well-known politician. Some people get featured on the staff read section, etc.

And I agree. Any practice only ever makes sense if it's genuinely inspired. Otherwise, it's bullshit, and it doesn't work.

I don't think you should follow any specific trend of practice on Medium. Just do you, work on yourself, better your content, who you are, etc, and that's still the best strategy in existence.
