To be frank I had those complaints before this major change. I think the update isn't a bad one, being per paid per engagement than just per reads is nice, but there's still no changes in how distribution works. As you say, grow of old age, which is sad, because unless you make massive efforts on your end to amass a following, you don't get there. It's frustrating.
