Responses really are mixed huh, on one hand I have the linux fans who vehemently disagree with me and often argue with me about it, on the other I have people who agree. It's a very mixed community it seems.

Yeah, it does seem to be a bit of a challenge to create a whole OS from scratch that isn't proprietary, so much so that (some) people would rather argue with me against it than for it.
