Yup, every little bits help. I do find I get some traffic from discord, because it peaks people's interests when they see a promising title. Ultimately it's the same everywhere, if something is compelling, it'll work.

Yeah Mastodon also wasn't necessarily the best for me. It's ok in terms of platform, but there doesn't seem to be that many people or that many responses. All in all the whole algorithm thing bothers me, I feel like nothing ever really pushes things forward, so it made me quit and go elsewhere a lot.

If you have a social media that's niche, then it's really nice, it's similar to a subreddit in the end, but just for that thing.

At this point I think we're moving towards a lot of decentralized platforms, and at some point it won't be socially mandatory anymore to be on x/y/z platform (hilarious that twitter is now literally that... although I'll never accept that. To me it will always be twitter).
