I will be completely honest, I'm a bit confused at a lot of things you and others say, you guys share a lot about your professional and personal experiences with Linux, and call me a complete noob (as I'm sure my article gave it away anyway), but all of this is a bit confusing to understand (that doesn't mean you should stop doing it though!)
I've never used AI for something like this, from experience ChatGPT is a bit more difficult to make it work for complex tasks such as these. You have to be really specific and have a lengthy conversation with it to achieve the results you want. AI assistants are still at their infancy, but I'm sure if you've managed to solve your own problem with it, then we're on a good track towards improvement and progress.
To be frank, I have been tempted to try out Ubuntu ever since I've heard of it, since it seems to be the most popular distro, it's just that at this point in time I feel that some things are really going to be missing from Windows, despite the spectacular progress you describe.
However, my hardware being "non-compatible" with Windows 11, likely means I'll someday have to seriously consider Linux as an option (one of the reasons why I got into the subject in the first place).
